The Prodigy Peel
Here at the S-Thetics Clinic, we offer patients iS Clinical’s innovative PRODIGY PEEL system to help correct minor skin imperfections and the visible signs of ageing, such as fine lines and wrinkles, as well as an uneven complexion and blemishes associated with breakouts.
Chemical peels are an effective way to unlock more youthful skin, and, when directed and applied by the right aesthetic practitioner, are entirely safe with minimal risks.

HOW IT WORKS
The Prodigy Peel is a medium-depth peel which uses the Prodigy Pro system, made up of highly concentrated exfoliants and nutritional ingredients, to eliminate dead skin cells
HOW MANY TREATMENTS

Created using the PRODIGY PRO three-step system, the PRODIGY PEEL is a brand-new concept, completely tailored to the patient’s needs, while minimalising the risks of any side effects, such as irritation or inflammation.
This means we now have maximum flexibility over intensifying and progressing the peels according to our patient’s treatment ladder and skin condition with different strengths, to ensure best results and minimal downtime.
The Prodigy Peel is also ideal for progressing patients who want to step up their treatments from the popular Fire & Ice Facial.
As the UK’s flagship iS Clinical clinic, we are excited to be the 1st UK to clinic to be trained and to launch the brand-new PRODIGY PEEL ‘P2’ and ‘P3’ system.
Please note: Individual results may vary.
Ideal treatment for
Oily skin occurs when naturally occurring oils produced by the skin, medically referred to as ‘sebum’, are made in excess. As well as giving the sufferer a shiny complexion and making it difficult to wear makeup, oily skin can lead to a host of other issues, including enlarged pores and acne.
Sagging skin is one of the clearest and most common signs of ageing, which occurs when the skin produces less collagen as we get older. Gravity takes its toll, and inevitably the supportive tissues in our face and body begin to droop.
Pigmentation is the medical term for patches or multiple areas on the skin’s surface that appear darker than the patient’s natural skin tone. This occurs when melanin, a naturally occurring pigment in the body, builds up and deposits in one particular spot; thus resulting in it taking on a darker appearance.
Spots, pimples, and blackheads are common, often milder forms of acne, a condition that occurs when dead skin cells and oil clog pores and follicles in the skin. Unlike whiteheads, blackheads are open to the air, causing the clogged material to become oxidized and develop a darker coloration.
Frown lines are the lines that appear between the eyebrows, either when frowning, or as we age and elasticity is gone from the area, on a permanent basis. Ageing skin is most identifiable by the presence of wrinkles. As collagen production decreases over time, the skin becomes less able to repair itself from the movement of everyday life. There are, fortunately, a variety of different treatments that can be used to treat fine lines and wrinkles and return a youthful complexion to the skin.
Acne scars are an associated complication of acne. Whilst any type of spot can lead to scarring, particularly when picked or squeezed, it is more likely to occur in more serious types of acne, such as nodules or cysts.
Acne is an incredibly common skin condition that affects a large number of people, but can (in some cases) cause embarrassment and discomfort to its sufferers.
FAQs
The PRODIGY PEEL is classified as a ‘medium depth peel’, but what makes this peel so unusual is the incorporation of two additional unique, and highly efficacious, peel components; PRODIGY PREP and PRODIGY BOOST.
This option is a new approach to this type of peel and the system is designed to provide a more luminous, smoother and clearer complexion with minimal downtime.
The peel begins with the PRODIGY PREP solution, featuring Witch Hazel (which offers many benefits to the skin) rather than the most commonly-used acetone (an irritant that generates erythema and inflammation).
This is then followed by the peel application, before the final step – the PRODIGY BOOST. The PRODIGY BOOST solution combines some of the most scientifically advanced chemical compounds which work together to significantly boost the power of the peel, while encouraging skin regeneration.
Patients can expect younger-looking skin with a healthy glow within a couple of days of the treatment.
Minor skin imperfections, such as fine lines and wrinkles, will also appear reduced, as well as helping to clear acne and blemishes.
This treatment can be tailored to the majority of skin types and is ideally-placed for those who are looking at the next step up from the iS Clinical Fire & Ice Facial.
Patients will undergo a detailed consultation and skin analysis with a highly-trained member of the S-Thetics Clinic team prior to treatment to ensure it is the right path for them.
The Prodigy Peel is designed to eliminate the risk of side effects which can be associated with chemical peels, however, patients may experience a slight redness and sensitivity to their skin immediately following treatment.
In most cases, moderate peeling or flaking will be visible for three (3) to seven (7) days following these treatments. Some mild peeling or flaking may still occur for up to ten (10) days.
Patients are advised to avoid too much time in the sun directly following their peel and can further enhance their results and reduce any minimal side effects with post-treatment skincare recommended by our aesthetic practitioners.
