Thread Veins

Thread veins, also known as spider veins, are small, thin veins under the skin. Despite their small size, they are prominent in colour, and tend to branch across the skin in a spider web-like pattern, meaning sometimes they can cover quite a large area.

The detail

Thread veins can occur anywhere on the body, but are most common in the legs or the face. Whilst they are usually harmless, if unsightly, sometimes they may be accompanied by burning or itching.

Photo Facial treatments are an effective method of reducing the appearance of thread veins, and medical skin care can also achieve excellent results.

At S-Thetics in Beaconsfield, we like to see every patient for an initial consultation and assessment before recommending a suitable treatment. Get in touch with our highly experienced clinic team today to book your consultation, or for any further information.
